JamesZintel.com is GO!
Welcome one and all to the brand new site for me, James Zintel. This site is designed to be my personal blog and portfolio location. As you may or may not know, my old portfolio was (and at the time I’m typing this still is) located at HyperWrench.com. This is sort of the evolution of my “business” as it were. At the old site, I was combining both my publishing endeavours like “Gary and Ted” and “Fireball” as well as my personal portfolio. The problem with that is that if someone was there to look at my work for graphic design would also run into links to the HyperWrench Store and things not really pertaining to what they were looking for, and it goes the other way as well, if someone was looking for Fireball info they would also run across my portfolio. So this is kind of a separation of church and state.
HyperWrench Productions will still exist as the “corporate face” of my work, but the site itself will serve as more of the hub for the publishing and original intellectual properties and this will serve as the location for the personal side of things. And by personal I mean my art and such, not my musings about an “unfair world ” and “how nobody understands me”, that’s what a LiveJournal is for (which reminds me, I meant to delete that account). Nor will the boring little things that I do in my day end up here, that’s what I use Twitter for.
So hopefully the rationale behind the separation makes sense. This is just a prelude to things to come.
